Join ICA LA for a celebratory afternoon of art-making, connection, and community inspired by our current Project Room exhibition, Raven Sanchez: Así Sea / So Be It. Drawing from Sanchez’s practice and works on view, visitors of all ages are invited to take part in two artist-guided workshops. Participants will make their own rubbings and assemblage sculptures, transforming everyday materials into handmade records of home. In addition to using materials provided by Sanchez, participants are encouraged to bring their own meaningful objects or mementos that carry personal connections to place.

Inspired by the artist’s own family gatherings, the program will also feature music, classic cars, and delicacies sold by local vendors.
