Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles will hold its annual Spring Benefit on Saturday, March 22 at the studio of Los Angeles-based artist Glenn Kaino.

ICA LA’s Spring Benefit brings together core members of Los Angeles’ network of artists, patrons, collectors, cultural professionals, and friends of the museum to support our mission and commitment to making contemporary art relevant and accessible to all.

The evening will begin with a studio tour led by Kaino and Executive Director Anne Ellegood, offering an intimate look into the creative process and themes that drive Kaino’s multidisciplinary work. During the evening there will be a special performance by High Seas (Glenn Kaino and David Sitek).

Dinner will be served by Guelaguetza, the James Beard Award-winning restaurant renowned for its authentic Oaxacan cuisine, crafted from generations-old family recipes. A Los Angeles staple since 1994, Guelaguetza has been featured in prestigious publications such as the Los Angeles Times, Jonathan Gold’s 101 Essential Restaurants, The New York Times, GQ, The New Yorker, and more. Cocktails will be served courtesy of Yola Mezcal, women-led and operated brand that produces premium, handcrafted mezcal from 100% organic agave in the highlands of Oaxaca, Mexico. With a commitment to tradition and sustainability, it delivers a smooth, smoky flavor profile that nods towards pleasure, heritage, and the moments that bring us together.

All funds raised from the Spring Benefit will directly support ICA LA’s exhibitions and Learning & Engagement programs, which provide free access to groundbreaking art and education initiatives. Your generosity helps ICA LA continue its mission to present bold, innovative exhibitions that challenge the way we see the world, ourselves, and each other.
